For many years, the students at Sriwittayapaknam School have been using chip tokens to pay for food in the school canteen. Now they have upgraded to cashcards. This uses RFID technology which is built into the students ID cards. Now all they have to do to buy food is place their ID card onto the reader

Today is the school birthday as it celebrates 55 years since it founding. In Thailand, many Thai Buddhists go to their local temple on their birthday in order to make merit. At school this morning it was much the same but 20 monks came to us to receive alms and to bless everyone. - Posted from
